PARKING: Please look at the map below. Easy parking is different from day to evening.
Daytime Parking Going North or South - During the day, metered street parking is available on both sides of Western Ave. just South of the Boat Street (at the junction of Western Ave. and Denny). The streets that turn to the East off Western, also have metered parking.
If you are coming from the North and reach Broad without finding a parking space, you can legally turn left onto Broad even though there is no arrow. Then, go immediately left onto 1st and then left once more to rejoin Western. If you are coming from the South and reach the Denny without finding parking, turn right at the next available street and find street parking on the side streets.
Nighttime Parking Going North or South: You should be able to find parking on the Boat Street side of Western, both North and South of our building. Going North, you will also find pay lots within two blocks of the Boat Street.
FIND THE BOAT STREET
From 99 going North. Take the Western Street Exit (on your left). Continue North on Western and cross over Broad.
The Boat Street Kitchen & Cafe is 2 1/2 blocks North of Broad, on the left, in the North West Work Lofts Building, at the bottom of the building ramp. Look for street side metered parking on your right, one block after you cross over Broad.
From 99 going South. Take the Seattle Center Exit (Broad Street) and turn right onto Broad. This is a difficult and dangerous turn during rush hours. Go straight, pass the Space Needle and proceed towards the water. When you are a block off the water, turn right onto Western. The Boat Street Kitchen & Cafe is 2 1/2 blocks North of Broad, on your left, in the North West Work Lofts Building, at the bottom of the ramp. Look for street side metered parking on your right, one block after you cross over Broad.
From University, Capital Hill, and South Lake Union, via Broad. Take Roosevelt/Eastlake South towards the South end of Lake Union. Turn right onto Fairview to remain as close to the lake as possible. After you pass the Mariott Residence Inn, bear to the right along the bottom of the lake, staying in the left lane so that you are not forced right onto Westlake. Fairview will turn into Broad as it goes through the underpass. Pass the Space Needle and continue towards the water. When you are a block off the water, turn right onto Western. The Boat Street Kitchen & Cafe is 2 1/2 blocks North of Broad on the left, in the North West Work Lofts Building, at the bottom of the ramp. Look for street side metered parking on your right, one block after you cross over Broad.
From I5 going North or South. Take the Mercer Street Exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn South onto Fairview in order to follow the lake towards the space needle, staying the left lane so that you are not forced right onto Westlake. Fairview will turn into Broad as it goes into an underpass. Pass the Space Needle and continue towards the water. When you are a block off the water, turn right onto Western. The Boat Street Kitchen & Cafe is 2 1/2 blocks North of Broad on the left, in the North West Work Lofts Building, at the bottom of the ramp. Look for street side metered parking on your right, one block after you cross over Broad.
